Weekly Scriptures & Thoughts:

Psalm 118:5 - In my anguish I cried to the LORD, and He answered by setting me free.

John 8:32 - Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.

"While we are zealously performing the duties of good citizens and soldiers, we certainly ought not to be inattentive to the higher duties of religion.  To the distinguished character of Patriot, it should be our highest glory to add the more distinguished character of Christian."

George Washington

As Christians, we have a duty as citizens of the US to be abreast of what is going on, and be vocal.  We should always seek God in prayer; praying for our leaders.  Take time today, and in this upcoming week to pray for our leaders, also pray for those men and women who continue to be in harm's way, fighting for our freedom.
